The practice of Taichi and Qigong has been around for a thousand years, but BME, or Taichi Light, and similar simplified Taichi and Qigong exercises, are a fairly new development. They answer the need of our modern, busy and diverse world. As more and more people begin to practice this exercise, their cumulative experience will hopefully help others to better understand and appreciate the practice.

"I did use (your) DVD with my class last year and though my students at first were embarrassed and reluctant they came to love the quiet reflective time in which we did our Taichi. They have so few times in their lives when they can be meditative that it became a real treat. We did it outside so when cold weather came it precluded our doing it as a g roup but often when a student would ask to go to the self time out room they would do a few of the poses while there!
